  One of the women whose son died during the terrorist attack on our embassy in Benghazi came on the news around Mother's Day and said something along these lines....   My comment to people who say things like the abortion etc in front of me. Is I am glad you mother chose life. To date the conversation stopped every time. The realization that they could have been one hits for the first time. With that experience I started looking for statements that do that for most similar not totally thought out positions. I have a few that are unique to me for gun control, etc. When the shoot back is that is racist or a personal attack the answer is on the racist, you do not know my wife and on the other only logic will work, personal attacks do not.
