My T/C Pro Hunter with my new 338 Win Mag barrel on it.. Topped with a Nikon 2.5-10 BDC pro Staff scope... Got it all leveled up last night and mounted so I'll take her to the range tomorrow and start getting her ready for a Newfie moose...

That ought to get it done! Shooting a .338 Win. Mag in a rifle that light might be 'interesting'.

Looks like a "Death Ray" to me! The deer and other game better make themselves scare around you.
    Daddy, what's an enabler?

Is that the new Prostaff 5? I was wondering because the regular Prostaff I didn't think had a 2.5-10 in its line up. The Prostaff 5 is one of Nikon's best scopes.

Recoil is manageable by far... After about 25 rounds I was grouping roughly 1" groups at 100... 3 shot groups... I stopped once I had it in at 100... Set on 9X with the BDC gives me "roughly" dead on aiming at 100, 200, 300, 400 etc.. I'll go back out this weekend to fine tune it with my Sims Barrel Deresignator ( I like them and think they tighten groups especially using factory ammo right now)... Recoil is similar to my 3 1/2" 12 guage... Nothing I would want to shoot boxes and boxes of ammo in a day but not anything I would say is bad or punishing....

I like those scopes. I have one regular Prostaff and there's no flies in its soup. I also have three Buckmasters that I am more than pleased with. I want to get me a Prostaff 5 4-12 x 40 with Mil Dot Rec. and a side Paralax Adjustment.

I do like your rig and it is in a fantastic chambering with a great scope. You are set!

[email protected]!!! Hoping to stretch it out to 200 yards in a week or two when I get to the range... finding ammo is the tough part... Just trying to stick with Factory rounds now because the trip to Africa next year and no reloads allowed there..

You know I am the kind of guy that has NEVER gotten away with ANYTHING... I got caught any time I tried to do anything... It's just easier for me to play by the rules.... Oh, and I don't play poker either... LOL
