Is a .44 mag overkill?
For a moccasin that is.
Went out when the rain stopped to shoot a jug. When I stopped to fill the jug with water at the culvert, a good sized
moccasin swam out from in the culvert, at the shot it disappeared then appeared floating on it's back no movement then sunk.
Turned to pick up my jug and when I turned around, Mister Big swam out of the culvert. He's floating out there minus a few inches
off his front end. Probably Mrs. Big in reality, hey.
Never shot the jug, decided I did not want to put my hand in the water today.
