BUAHAHAHAHAHA!! I shall call you Mini Me.
Here, along the Front Range of the Rockies, temps don't really seem to have as much to do with it as the angle of the light. As soon as the sun has noticeably shifted to the south, the leaves start turning, regardless of temps. Of course, cooler temps help it along, but it's mostly the light. You can go through a steep canyon and have aspens on one side of the road still green, and on the other side....not a leaf left on the tree. The only difference is the lighting.

He started it!
Yes he did, black socks with sandals and all that. He's now in a position to put some frickin' laser beams on sharks.
We will post pictures in February just for you...

I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
And it's all the weather girls talk about on the news channels since it's Fall and all they can do is throw their hands up and say "your guess is as good as mine" about the weather. Maybe they should do like some russian weather girls and start taking their clothes off on the air........I wouldn't mind.
It cracks me up that people will take a day to drive through the mountains to "ooohh/ahhhhh" the change in the aspens. They go from green to yellow, big whup!
Should start seeing some color last week of Oct or early Nov.
Leaves are beginning to fall here while still green. They do that every year, though. Probably no frost until late October, and then the woods will be all crunchy with fallen leaves for the muzzleloader season. I hope it's heavy overcast this muzzleloading season; the moon will be darn near full the whole time.
