Let Oblivit Roll!

During WWII the allies wanted to kill the leader of Germany. Then they backed off. Why? They figured out that Germany would be easier to bring down with a idiot leader instead of becoming run by generals that knew what to do. It worked. The leader killed as many Germans though stupid orders as the allies did with strong armys. Very interesting.

Would the same thing work in America today? Stand back and let the present administration destroy itself? Oblivitcare is doomed to fail, let it. All the different scandles will be ammo against the administration. The present administration has only 3 years left and mid term elections can seal their fate. This country can recover and will with good leadership. The present administration can also damage the entire party on their side. Let 'em.

Hard core conservatives are the same as hard core democrats, out dated and out of touch with what is going on. Radio took over telephone and telegraph, television took over the airwaves. Semi automatic weapons took over bolt action in war ect. We as a people need to take responceability of reforming and repairing our government. Limit terms for Congress and the House of Representatives like the President. Term limits will save us from Oblivit. Any Ideas? Lets' hear 'em! :usa: Later,

Make the terms for House, Senate, and White House all six years, and limit all of the players to one term. This gives those with actual good intentions long enough to accomplish something, but not long enough to truly create an evil spider's web. Once that's done, hold those elections separately - i.e. Presidential in 2000, House in 2002, Senate in 2004, and Presidential in again 2006. This will maximize the chances of a majority in one branch pissing off the electorate and having its support from the other branches cut out from under it. This will hopefully encourage cooperation on legitimate issues and limit partisan squabbling over high profile sensationalist items that have no real bearing on the function of the nation.

Finally, after a candidates one term in a particular office is done, their constituents get to vote their approval rating. If they get a two-thirds majority approval, they can run for a different office if they so desire; if they rank between one and two thirds, they retire from public office; if they get a two thirds majority DISAPPROVAL, they go to jail for the entirety of the next six year term.

As for "let Oblivit roll," with the resulting scandals and failures being ammo to use against the administration (Democratic Party), I'm not so sure. The only viable opposition to the Democrats is the Republican Party, and it's run by a bunch of light weights scared of their own shadow. Look how these milquetoasts ran the Romney campaign - even coming off a big victory in 2010, they lost a race that was theirs to win. The GOP candidates were harder on each other during the primaries than they were on Obama. The sad fact is the Republican Party never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity. And it doesn't help when Republicans and conservative Independents get all holier-than thou, nit-pick the nominee, and basking in the dull glow of self-righteous and self-important rationalizations, either stay home or throw their vote away on a ridiculous 3rd party. If a Republican or a conservative Independent votes for a 3rd party in a forest, and nobody's around, does it send a message? Uhhh, NO it doesn't. Even if you think it does, it doesn't.

As for term limits, I agree with them at the Presidential level, and Governor level in the states, but below that, I'm against them. They disenfranchise the electorate. It's up to the people how many terms a Representative or a Senator will serve. And no, that's not a contradiction. Presidents and Governors are one thing, Congressmen and state Legislators are another. Apples and oranges. A President or Governor doing a good job will be rewarded by the people who will elect his Party to Congress or the Legislature. A President or Governor doing a bad job will be checkmated by the people who will elect his opposition.

The GOP is clueless when it comes to social media and television advertising. Until some savvy people take the reins, and they learn to tailor their ads to educate and inform low-information voters, they'll never succeed. Conservative Republican candidates also need to learn when the shut the eff up. We lost 2 Senatorial races in 2012 that were literally in the bag because stupid candidates forgot themselves when questioned about abortion, religion, gays, and other social issues, and handed hundreds of thousands of election-winning votes to the Democrats on a silver platter. Conservatives need to learn how to communicate, how to express themselves in ways that do not turn voters against them.

Billy, I've heard this before that we didn't kill Hitler, on purpose. But I never bought into this theory. From what I've read, they wanted Hitler dead. By the time we got into the war in 1941, it was pretty well known what Hitler and his Nutzis were up to. I don't think they knew to the degree things were actually going on, but we knew they were into Genocide.

Actually, Hitler lived a charmed life. There were numerous attempts on his life and he miraculously survived them all. The devil himself must have been watching over him. Anyway Hitler and his entourage are in a better place now, stoking the fires of hell.

As for Oblivit, I believe he has about run his course. He tried to get his liberal socialistic policies run through Congress, but he has hit a wall with gun issues, he had so may scandals going not even the libtard media could keep up with them all, Benghazi chief among them, along with the IRS and the NSA problems. And finally Obama Care will be his undoing. The problem with most liberal administrations is they are made up of mainly pie in the sky idiots that don't have a good grasp of reality and are ultimately incompetent.

But the problem is, not all Libtards are this stupid and the worst may be yet to come. Say what you want about slick willy, but he ain't dead yet. AND he's infinitely smarter than Obummer or any of his crew. If Hillary gets elected, believe me, Bill will be back in the White House. He is a very smart adversary and he is just as liberal as Obummer or any of those. This is why I say, the worst may be yet to come.

First of all, Fat, I'm not at all sure that the allies didn't try to kill Hitler all through the war. Realize that after a successful D-Day, the Germans generally wanted to sue for peace but Hitler said no.

Second, I'm also not sure that there are any good parallels in the comparison with the Obama regime now. I actually don't think that the admin will allow the obamacare project to detonate -- they'll do what they can to patch it and fiddle with it to let it continue.

Much as we don't want to accept it, there is a fairly large percent of voter out there who actually thinks obama is doing a good job and would vote to support him again. Or, afterwards, Hillary.
