    What the heck is going on? Purdue, S.C. State, and now MD shopping mall. Three high-profile shootings in one week. Hey! You angry people! Hey! You mental cases! Enough already!

    Funny how the same folks never call for 'car control' when there is a drunk who takes out somebody on the highway. WHAT WE NEED IS LESS CARS!!!!

    MSN is reporting that the shooter had a shotgun and "a large quantity of ammunition."

    I'd bet this means "a box of 7 1/2 shot".

    From what I've heard most of the state is a gun free zone, with permits near impossible to get.

    Romantic triangle, maybe? I notice a man and a woman, co-workers in the same store, seem to have been the target. Since the news media hasn't been running "facts" 24/7 it seems this one is going to turn into a non-story like a few others recently.

    I'm curious. If you take a gun into a "gun free" zone like say the theater in CO and you end up being heroic and shooting the bad guy dead before he does to much damage, say only 1 or 2 dead, are you in trouble? Probably huh?

    Last I heard, they were not pressing any charges against him, he had a valid CCW and only a court date for the sex offense but that was a week ago, has it changed?
