  To a slightly lesser extent, the carjacked lady in Reservoir Dogs. Tarantino portrays that situation as one where she would've been okay if she'd have just given them the car, my interpretation is that she should've (1) Kept on driving or (2) If she absolutely HAD to stop, she should've been carrying something other than a J-Frame and she should've fired more than one round. :tooth:

  Then there is that scene in "Boogie Nights" of the donut shop robbery, and the gun guy in the booth reading his gun magazine, I'm sure someone describing the scene in the daily brief for the days shoot joked the neanderthal was only looking at the perty pictures.
  
  When the gun guy shoots BG, BG shoots and kills store clerk, then shoots and kills gun guy before dying from gun guys shots.
  
  Sure would have made "Taxi Driver" one heck of a confusingly short film had they used the same outcome there.

  Came for the fishing, stayed for the guns.

  Also a big fan of the show, anything where James Spader is featured seems to be great!
  
  Now it seems that a recurring crutch this days in order is to make the bad guys "badder" is by making both the victims and more so law enforcing entities quite weak, the way the FBI is portrayed in "The Following" is the best example of this to the point of being ridiculous!
