Lots of stuff growing, including antlers...a couple of weeks ago these bulls were bald. Depending on the quality of nutrition, the rate of growth can be an inch to an inch and a half A DAY

We have something growing in our garage, a Carolina Wren has a nest in there somewhere.
It is driving me nuts what with all the scolding I get from them and the bird droppings.
I have not found the nest yet, just the birds coming with insects.
They're looking a little ratty right now because they're shedding their winter coats and they're all showing some ribs as they are transitioning from winter browse to whats coming now at greenup. The cows are all slicked up, fat and ready for calving season in June.
We lost our old drop-tine bull late in the winter, just haven't found him yet. We also had a 4 year old bison bull that broke a hip that the buzzards and coyotes are cleaning up.
