The rains cometh.

From 3pm to 8pm everyday so far... Torrential rain. The trails on the hog property is already 4x4 conditions normally and I reckon it'll be damn near impassable in a few days... :tissue:

I was just about to start range testing subsonic .308 for a hunt.

Not much rain here yet. I'm waiting for a tropical storm to form in the Gulf
that will give us some rain.

However, we did have a few good rains back in the late winter and spring that got everything here pretty greened up. Also, it hasn't been so hot so far. Maybe it's gotten to 90 but not much hotter yet. Most summers it will be mid 90s every day by now.

Tried to paint two large outdoor tables today. Forecast was 0% chance of rain.

While the paint was still wet, we got rained on three different times. That sounds like 300% to me.

I think the weather forecasters here eat crayons and pick their nose.

Little to nothing here in Central Texas, we could sure use 10-15 inches to get us out of the drought.

Sometimes I look up at those storm clouds skipping over Denver and landing on the plains and midwest as they march east with their bad selves, and think........here comes some 'o Nature's lovin' boys!

That's funny because sometimes I see it's supposed to snow on the Western slopes and I picture in my mind's eye my trips out there. When it snowed the silence was deafening. And it snowed every October I was ever out there.
Mean while I hope the rains cometh here as we put out about 100 pounds of grass seed today.

Do you have a wet basement? Lots of that around here, the water off the eaves is falling on saturated ground, lots of seeping basement walls and floors, not at my house though.

It's rained here nearly every day since the 1st of June. Working up a shower from the West now. It's rained every day for the last 1 1/2 weeks. This isn't typical June weather. June is more hot and dry with an occasional rain shower. It's Obama's fault!
