Posting Pictures

There are three ways to post pictures now.
There is the oldschool way of using the IMG tags:
Make sure the image is on the web somewhere (Picassa, Photobucket, etc...)
Left Click, and get the URL of the image directly:
Then paste the URL between the image tags:
And post it.
Newer Way:
get the URL of the image as above.
Click the Add a Picture Link:
In the window that pops up, click on the "From URL" tab.
Paste in the URL, and uncheck the box. Don't ask why, just do it.
Hit OK. You will notice that it basically did the hard work of adding the IMG tags to the URL for you.
Hold on, I can only upload 5 images per post. Let me see if I can add more to a reply.

And you can see your pic in the post as you create/ edit. Kinda Cool.
3rd and totally newfangled way:
Click the Add Image button as above. This time click the "From Computer" tab in the dialog box:
Click "Select Files" and upload off of your drive.
Now, here is the neat part. Double click on the image you just uploaded.
You can specify the size, location, and tag your uploaded photo:
Now, y'all have fun.

This was a test and the first time with this browser that it worked without a thumbnail
Further test to follow
Must still be a difference between IE 8 & 9
I'm going to log out and see if Clean's computer will do it.

That was my thought. I'd have this url saved, and copy and paste it into threads when the question pops up.

Thanks. I didn't know what Avatar meant.
So now that I have the expert's attention; how do I check for replies to my posts without trying to remember where they all are and scrolling through everything looking for replies. Thanks in advance.
