A pair of .32's to play with

On the left, my H&R 732 wearing a Pachmayr. This is normally a starting gun size but the grip really makes it easier to grab. On the right my NEF R73 with refinished grips in .32 H&R magnum. The original grips were ugly. I spent about 8 hours total refinishing these and they still aren't what I want. I stripped them with Stripeaze, sanded then a bit with 220, gave them 8 coatings of dark red oak stain, then three layers of wipe on poly. I think they look OK but they just would not soak up stain.
Regardless, I think they are a nice pair.

I've never used stripeaze but have done a lot of grips.
Acetone works really well on stripping them for me.
Nice pair of .32s
I like the .32 S&W long, but don't own one at the time. I do own a Walther .32 ACP PP model. Someday I'll get one and maybe a .32 magnum. BC
I could have pulled out the .32 ACP Beretta Tomcat, or the .32 S&W Police Positive but I would have had to dig a lot farther...

I always had a thing for the 925 in 38 S&W ( 200gr.), if they had made it in a .455..........be still my beating heart!
PS.
Is it true Harrington and Richardson worked for Smith and Wesson in the early days.
