  Some folks with lots of $$$/power someplace sure brought him from relative obscurity as a run of the mill junior senator and propped him up as our next great hope. It worked, he got elected twice.

  Before he was in the Illinois legislature he was a community organizer. How about he gets drop shipped to the Syria-Iraq border and let him do that community organizing thing there.

  Community Organizer is a non-threatening way of saying Communist Agitator, which is what these types were called back in the 40's and 50's.
