Looks like we're backing into a war on a third front

Obama is sending military advisers to central Africa. Seems like I remember another war that started by sending advisers into another country. This wag the dog thing is getting out of hand.

To my eyes, much of the so called Western World, is full of it. Look at Dafur. In conflict since about 2005, there have been 250k+ killings. The impotent UN should have sent an armored division down there to send them a message. But Libya, oh, let's go right away and send in air strikes.

If y'all don't support our President sending troops to Africa, y'all is all RACIST BIGOTS! I'm sick of our caring leader getting accused of only trying to get reelected and deflecting attention away from a crisis when he only wants to make the world a better place with some Hope and Change.

The above will surely be "Talking Points" spouted off on Sunday yak yak shows by some of the DEMS, watch and see if some talking heads don't say essentially the same thing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to our military and their families :angel2::usa::usa:

Here's an idea. China is part of the UN. Have them send in a couple million troops, and the whole rebel outfit will either be captured or 'neutralized' by by lunch. Same for Darfur.

Mike, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY IDEAS....

just what we would need is Chinese troops in bases around the world. It's not like they don't have a few million to spare.

Well just look at some of the comments from Shelia Lee Jackson, others both black and white, like Nancy Pelosi and even the VP that are just outrageous. I mean calling the Tea Party Terrorist and saying crime will go up because Obama's jobs bill didn't get passed and blame it on REPs. Funny thing is the Senate is under DEMs control and it still failed. They forgit to mention facts don't they!

Now look at the Wall Street protestors they are siding with. I'm not really sure what they want, but Obamma has gotten more campaign $$$ from Wall Street donors than any other president/candidate in history. The marchers walked right past George Soros's house but stopped at REPs houses/apt building in NYC...........go figure.

Plus giving Chinese troops combat experience isn't a great idea.

Hey BigChief I bet ya that those protesters are 99.99% anti-gunners, thats why they didn't stop at Anti-Gunners, Anti-2ndAmendment George Soros's house.

George Soros has a huge investment in the fledgling Ugandan oil industry. Military advisers would help protect that investment....Hmmmm.

I have traveled Africa and Central Africa and I am here to tell you all, this is one big mistake indeed. This is not a time for us to do this with all the debt we have and how our military is so stretched at the moment. You send people there and they get attached and involved with the people there and involved with them politically and our folks on the ground begin to try and persuade people in high places they know that we need to sent troops and it starts all over again. That is exactly what happened in Vietnam. I am tired of conflicts that we do not intend to win, just tired of them and it cost the blood of good young men that we might need in case of a world wide conflict. I can't stand this administration and don't want to be banned for using the words that I think would describe this clown show we have in Washington. I have seen blood spilled and I don't want our good men wasted on some clown running to be re-elected.

The conflict in Uganda is both religious and tribal in nature. That's two no-win scenarios right out the gate. The leader of the Lord's Resistance Army is nuttier than a Payday bar. Best to find out where they're hiding and drop a tactical nuke on them, or at least a couple dozen MOABs. There are only about 250 armed 'soldiers' following the fruitcake. Looks like the armies of a couple of the surrounding countries could handle that. We're sending 100 advisers; that's nearly half the strength of the armed LRA.

For the record, nothing gets done in the Senate without 60 votes these days and last time I checked dems didn't have 60 votes. The filibuster has gone from a rarely used extreme gambit to standard operating procedure. It is also a double edged sword because the Dems will use it just as effectively to block anything that the next president wants to get through congress as well.

Also, for a good intro about the Occupy movement here is an article from fox news. Obama and company may be trying to claim the support or are supported by the movement, it is no different than plenty of establishment Republicans trying to say they support and are supported by the Tea Party. In fact most of the protesters are pretty pissed off at Obama and the main gripe is that so far he has largely served his wealthy donors instead of the American people.

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/10/14/understanding-occupy-wall-street/

As Bill O'Riley pointed out last night, the DEMS control the Senate and Obama's Jobs Bill didn't even have the support of ALL the Senate DEMS to try and push it through.
