This is TOO cool. Variable power at the touch of a button. Since it just changes the magnification, loss of power still lets the scope work. 10,000 cycles on two AA batteries. Maybe a small solar cell wouldn't be a bad idea. They also say they will be able to do IR and starlight as well as binocs. Would like to see this mature for a pair of eyeglasses.

Very cool. Glasses would be great but I'm thinking more like cornea implants. Imagine getting your teenage eyesight back.
