I can see it now. Buncha cops at a doughnut shop eating frosted doughnuts with sprinkles. EPA dweeb walks in and tells them they are in violation of federal law against eating doughnuts with sprinkles and tells them they are under arrest. Cops deploy ASPs and nightsticks and beat EPA dweeb senseless, then resume eating doughnuts with sprinkles. EPIC! I'd pay to see that action!

It's only illegal if you use a Sig brace against your shoulder while sprinkling the sprinkles on the sprinkleless donut. But $200 will get you a tax stamp and you can enjoy your dangerous donut in peace. At least for now. Update on ruling soon.

Haha... I'd prefer the PR-24. Collapsible ASP batons tend to wiggle loose and retract with extended periods of use...

Pretty much the same thing as former NYC Mayor Bloomberg trying to ban sugary soda in excess of 16 oz. All this crap proves democraps are a pack of full-fascists.

A three foot length of auto heater hose would work pretty good.
And if I got to see it go down, I'd buy $100 worth of doughnuts for them! :roll2:

Cut the length in clamp a 5/8" bolt in one end and fill with lead shot. Clamp another 5/8" bolt in the other end, tape over clamp. We wouldn't want to cut our hand.

That looks a lot like a joke news story, like we get from the Onion or other spoof news sites. You sure it's real?

Couldn't find anything that I'd consider concrete, just a link to legal jibberish, dated 2013, from a link in one of the articles. https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2013/11/08/2013-26854/tentative-determination-regarding-partially-hydrogenated-oils-request-for-comments-and-for#h-4

    That's all I can find as well.....still wouldn't surprise me a bit

You can have more than one 16 ounce sugary drink. You just can not buy a larger cup at a NYC restaurant. In the end, it acts like crony capitalism dressed up as healthy consumption habits.

I think the courts overruled Bloomcommie already.

Found this on Snopes. The story's mostly bogus, and like many, has shreds of fact to hold it together:
