It appears that RIP has had it's first recall....

Not sure the recall is a big thing just because glocks don't like it; they have not recalled lead bullets just because you are not supposed to shoot lead in glock barrels.

They look a little like the old "Pin Grabbers" in .45 ACP that were made to grip bowling pins mo better in matches, nasty looking, but were full weight bullets.

As has been said many umpteen times before, there ain't no such thing as a Magic Bullet.

Specialty ammo has a niche in certain circumstances like for use by Air Marshals in aircraft and maybe Glaser for thin walled apartment dwellers, but most of us will do just fine with good HP ammo from reputable makers.

    What you mean
I hear tell that each time you go to the range, you bring the tgt home and declare
" look what I did, it was by magic".

Ah, my Shootin may be magical that I even get on paper, but not the bullets :jester:

We *REALLY* need to do something about the bass-ackwards liability laws (and the lawyers) in this country. If you're someplace you're not supposed to be and/or doing something you're not supposed to be doing; you automatically assume ALL liability for being there or doing that. All bets off. That's how it *should* be, criminals should be automatically disbarred from suits against their victims under ANY circumstances.

Laws are complicated because facts are complicated. Should your case go to trial, you don't want to give the other side any evidence to show you are a bad guy. If I am defending a client, I want to avoid dealing with "dumb" things that might confuse juries (unless I need to confuse them :-))

Gun: King Cobra or Model XX
Ammo: Black Talon or Ranger STX.
Although there is ZERO real difference in gun or ammo, I want the latter not the former.
