How many rounds?

BAMAAKBAMAAK Senior MemberPosts: 4,484 Senior Member
How many of what rounds did you shot in 2014?

I estimate about 5000 rounds of .22, mostly LR
about 1000 each of .40 S&W and 9mm mostly reloads
maybe 500 of .380 most reloads
200 of .556

probably small compared to some of you

Very few actually, (500-1k maybe) with School & my knees, I shot less this year than I have in quite a while :tissue:

I had to cut back on training sessions this year to focus on getting better at instruction, so i probably didn't go through more than 1k of .45acp, 300 or so .38spl/.357mag, and even fewer .22LR. I did get to spend some time with my M70 7mm Rem. Mag; I took 20 rounds to sight it in and work on technique.

Me and my kids went through about 2500 22lr, 1000+- 9mm, 500+- 40S&W, 500 44mag, 1200 or so 12ga. Everyone at my Birthday Blastfest probably doubled that.

Not near enough. I don't know where weekends and other free time went but most of the time I didn't have time to do many things.

About 200 22LR, 100-150 centre fires and maybe 2 or 3 boxes of shotgun ammo, most of the centrefire and half the rim fire was in one day through 4 or 5 rifles.
In short, nowhere near as much as I would have liked too.

    1200+ .22, about 140 .204, 50+222, assorted 22.250, 7mm08, 7.62X39, 308, 375 H&H, some 30.06, a couple of 10.75X68, 3-4 packets of 12g..........

I have got a fair bit of reloading to catch up on.

In Bermuda you have to account for every round. Talk about suck. You Kiwis better keep your powder dry and ready.

I really enjoy shooting and am constantly trying to improve my skills, and with a couple good places to shoot very close by (15 min. and 30 min.) I try to go shooting at least twice a month. I can only guess/estimate quantity, so probably 100-150 in .30-06, 800+ in 7.62 X 39, 800+ in .45 ACP, 200-300 in 9mm, a few boxes of 12 gauge, and just recently about 150 in .357. Probably actually shot more than that.

2014 was a very low year for shooting. I was recuperating from considerable illness, then prepping for surgery, and other stuff. So I had only 2-3 trips to the range and that meant oh, fewer than 200 rounds.

2015 I plan to make up the diff, however.

Probably around 4K total, mostly 9mm and .22 rimfire. I don't keep a round count in my STI 1911, but it is probably due a new recoil spring.

I would say probably between 400-500 total. Way less than I would have liked to. I need to resolve to get myself a range membership this year. The public ranges in the area suck and are a pain in the butt. I need somewhere where it isn't such a chore to actually shoot.

Sadly, I shot less in 2014 than recent years and even sadder...for no good reason.
