The babes with great legs in skirts and dresses... :cool2:
Good point.
Here's my take on news. 10 years ago I cancelled my cable TV subscription because I got sick & tired of paying $45 per month to watch TV commercials! Since then I have used the home pages of all the networks to view the headlines. If there is something I am interesting in I read it or go to the video presentation. In this way I am in total control and not subject to listening to various talking heads run their mouths about something I do not care about.
What does bother me very much is that all of these news sources are highlighting mostly the BAD NEWS items. You know, police officer shot, man falls down well while having sex, little girl with tumor wins marathon, and so on and so forth. These stories literally cover the front page of these sites. I realize that this type of reporting sells, but enough is enough with all this stuff. Granted I was raised in the 1950's & 60's which was a more gentle time in this country although we were dealing with the Cold War and Vietnam.
For honest straightforward news nothing can beat Reuters News Service both their domestic and international editions.
No wonder so many people feel the "end times" are just about here. Maybe they're right. Who knows?
The only news I can stand to watch on TV in recent years is Fox, and not much of them. At least, it is still possible to delineate between news and commentary there. I mostly skip all the commentary except Charles Krauthammer, since he usually agrees with my take on the news that Fox has just presented. I don't usually disagree with Hannity - I just can't stand to watch his show because he won't shut up. I catch Limbaugh on the radio, maybe once a month, and Mark Levin for a few minutes every week or so.

And a COUPLE of other things about them could be mentioned.
