  He did it right, I think. The reporter said he has pulled his gun in another incident, as well. I hope that doesn't mean he is a little overzealous. This guy looked more like a wino than a carjacker, but it was OK with police, so it was probably the right move.

  Excellent! Great behavior by the armed citizen, including how he put his pistol down as soon as the cops showed up.
  
  Best was his statement that there was one less guy bothering his mom when she went shopping.

  Some times we get it in Atlanta and this time we did. Two nights ago a man and his wife were sitting on their back deck enjoying the evening when a small group of thugs came out of the woods and tied 'em up and robbed the house and left them in a closet blocked my a chair. Hope they got a shot gun for the closet. They lived in a "nice" neighborhood in the suburbs. Last week a "smoke shop" was robbed and the clerk had a shotgun put to his head. He deflected the shotgun and shot and killed the robber with a perfect torso hit. Night before last a "smoke shop" was robbed at closing and the clerk was shot and killed by robbers. There is no "safe" place anymore so be prepared and ready. Atlanta WAS a save Southern city once. NO MORE! Later,
