Need help with tight-fitting AR Mags.

I just received my order from Sportsmans Guide that included a 50 round capacity AR loader, 3 mag doublers and six AR mags that were made in Israel. I have the feeling that the mags were made with metric specifications, because they won't slip in and out easily from the magazine port. I have to put a lot of pressure on them to get one in the port, and once in there I have to pull really hard to get them out. Anyone have a suggestion to make them fit better, like sanding the corners or something. I don't want to return them because they seem like very good quality mags for the price and they have a window on the side to see how many rounds are left while firing.

I'm thinking poor QC quality parts would be made to Mil-Spec.

Visually they look exactly the same as the ones I have that DO fit, but these are too tight to get in and out easily.

    Plastic?

Yes, they are pretty much the same as PMAGS but a different brand.

Dry erase marker in suspect spots , force in and out, then lightly sand with finer grades of wet-dry sandpaper the offending spots.
OR.....send them pack and buy some PMAGS....

Never had good luck with plastic mags except the Butler Creek 10/22 mags.

DSG has a 10 pack deal. 10 PMags for $100, buy once and you're set.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try Wambli's idea with one of them, and if that doesn't work I'll send them back. I never had any trouble with the PMAG's and have run lots of ammo through a few of them.

Never mind....I decided to go with the consensus on these mags and send them back. I explained to them that they didn't work on my AR as advertised and suggested it was a manufacturing error in the lot that my mags came from. They usually have a return fee of $6.50, but in my case they sent me a return label and aren't going to charge me for the return. I decided it just wasn't worth the aggravation of fiddling with these things to make them work.

I see no reason in the world why anyone but Magpul is in the AR15 mag business or why anyone buys anything but.

I like the Lancers I have purchased.

Yeah, we need competition to keep them on their toes. I really like my ban-era Thermolds (marked "GOVT OR LAW USE ONLY"), but Magpuls are definitely the workhorse mags.
