I'll admit to being simple minded, but.....why can't they JUST cut PPs funding?

:that: Yeah, its not like every bill that comes out of that particular swamp has several thousand pages of lawyer speak. They should be able to figure it out.

Why not give the mother the money from the murdered child's body parts. Cut down on public assistance. I find this whole thing disgusting how the hell can anyone think this is OK?

We figured out a long time ago how conception occurs....seems that if folks who can't afford kids or who don't have any business having kids would refrain from the activity that creates kids, we wouldn't be having this conversation....I know, I know....I'm being idealistic and that the whole personal responsibility thing is a pipe dream.....

Do us a favor and look up and share with everyone the quantities of money that were discussed in the videos and share with the rest of the group.

You want too discuss price. This is wrong very very wrong yet society seems to be OK with it, unless you kill a lion then there is outrage. Go figure, as a nation we are morally corrupt.

Anything that keeps stupid, irresponsible people from breeding I am VEHEMENTLY in favor of - preemptively or after the fact. I would much rather that a pregnancy doomed to result in an impoverished and/or immoral upbringing be terminated than result in a feral "human" that will probably become a welfare sponge or the target of a police shooting - most likely after they've already murdered someone who actually had some value to society.

As to the tissue. . .parts is parts.

Sorry, just one more point - If you truly oppose abortion, and even most pro choice individuals would prefer to limit the number of abortions that take place, isn't making contraception more difficult to obtain, especially for the populations most likely to get abortions, the worst possible means to limit the number of abortions? The only possible outcome of eliminating Title X is more abortions and more children on public assistance.
This. Times 100 billion. We can argue where "the line" is all we like with regards to actual abortion - but limiting contraception is simply a failure of "certain groups" to MYOB.

Would you care if they were not charging anything? The numbers discussed for the record were $30-100 which was for packaging and shipping. We're talking about delicate stuff here, there is no profit. I get being anti-abortion, I really do. I just don't get this. You would rather the tissue be thrown in the trash than used for medical research? That's essentially what you're saying.

Honest question. Would you be OK with selling the organs of executed prisoners? It seems pretty analogous to me. Both are legal where they happen, both are just unviable tissue masses that are thrown away, right?

What is that in the Bible about it is better to plant your seed in a Belly Dancer(Woman?) than on the ground? Maybe they take it literally?

Yes, though perhaps not through sales simply to avoid the potential bad press of "executions for profit". Again, parts is parts, and in the case of the condemned, it's already been determined that their ass belongs to the state, and their ass might as well do something useful. The "abortion" in these cases is just retroactive. The main complication would be determining what method of execution damages the parts least.

I can agree with that, but I would still use a rubber. And if it is Zorba's twin sister, forget about it!

Birth control has been FREE for a long time for those that can't afford it. That includes pills, IUDs, and implants. Problem has ALWAYS been that those that need this free service the most were born tired and ain't got rested enough yet to go get the free birth control. Hell's bells! Even my little rural redneck county has that free stuff at the County Health Department!

Maybe some eye bleach or a very thick and durable paper bag, but for everything else there are these!

And this is the crux of the matter - this is your BELIEF, not an controvertible FACT.

Actually "belief" has nothing to do with the scientific fact that they ARE human beings. Ontogeny does not recapitulate phylogeny so they are nothing less than human beings. FACT. A human being, albeit, perfect or imperfect, begins at conception not birth! "All men are CREATED equal......" is powerful as our FF acknowledged that the act of birthing was and is not equal. So your inalienable Rights have to attach BEFORE birth as you may be born poor, rich, black, etc.....
