And he was 22 years younger than I! But he was a chain-smoker, and refused to quit or slow down even though the medics were on his case hot and heavy to quit! Why are people like that? He couldn't quit....he was an "addicted economic slave" to the American tobacco industry, and his health was destroyed because of it. Makes me wonder how screwed up our laws are :bang:

    Tobacco is the:devil:!!
The best way to shorten your life is smoke and be over weight!
We just buried a friend who was only 57, lung cancer, took him two years to die a painfull death!

Same thing happened to me four days ago. Guy who lived below me was smoking a cigarette
in the shower (!) and keeled over. OK, he was 74 but even so, he was completely hooked and
wouldn't even consider quitting. Had a cough that would rattle the walls, too. Didn't have to

This is America. Make your choices and take your chances. I see people who give up smoking, food with flavor and dedicated their lives to surviving instead of living. Look on the bright side. Maybe you can inherit a few deals you wish you hadn't made.
