Dumb for being on/saying what he did on FB, but for a person to be fired because they expressed an opinion?

the PC crowd has gotten totally out of control, someone in senior government with a backbone needs to tell these schlungs that yes your opinion matters but so does everyone else's.

For a while people give loud little dogs what they are begging for to shut them up. Eventually they get fed up and kick them in the head to shut them up. I believe a day of true change is on the horizon.

He's not the first official fired for expressing an opinion that runs counter to the overall herd. People have been fired for speaking at engagements, holding signs, emails, texts, and phone calls. Facebook is just another outlet for it.
    Meh.

Main point being: If a person is fired for expressing an opinion basically against "black lives matter", why are people that post opinions that are "pro black lives matter" fired? Are we saying that it is ok to have one opinion and not another? If so, I wore a Military uniform for over 20 years to help protect that right for no reason.

It seems like it's okay to have one opinion and not the other. That's what I meant about opinions running counter to the herd.

My point was: he's not the first guy to be fired for voicing an opinion. The media doesn't matter, really.
    Meh.

There better be some ass and head kicking pretty soon or the loud little dogs will be in total control.

Dumb for doing it on facebook (I despise facebook........too many posting too much personal crap and looking for their 15 minutes of fame IMHO). Should he have been fired for it? No freaking way. As it has been said, PC is liberal censorship.

Teach, I have ZERO idea. I've been involved with computers since the late 1970s, and have seen all kinds of idiotic things come and go - but I've never seen ANYTHING as stupid - yet as dangerous - as so-called "social media". I'm just amazed that anyone would take anything that goes on there seriously - I don't give any "legitimacy" to its existence. Mental masturbation for the teenage minded.
