  The horn mount is definitely the way to go time wise, it took a little while to figure how to mount it and covering with the leather requires more artsy skill than I have. The full skull is a pain to do because there is ALWAYS a chunk somewhere that you have to ferret out, and skinning a face is a lesson in patience, but I mount them with a toggle bolt through the board which takes about 5 min with all of the drilling inclusive.
