My AR pistol build is coming together.

I'm mostly done with the build on my AR15 pistol project. I'm a using Del Ton receiver set, custom 8" barrel (I had a spare stainless 1 in 8 barrel in the shop so I did some chopping), Phase 5 buffer set, Magpul K2+ grip, no-name free float handguard I had laying around, and all of the internals are again stuff I had laying around. I slapped the red dot on it just to get a feel for what the finished gun will feel like, so far I dig it! I was planning on completing the barrel today but my circumcised thumb has prompted me to take the day off.

Sorry for the blurry pic, didn't notice that until I posted it.

Any plans for a muzzle device to get the end of the barrel out past the FFT?

It would suck to lose another chunk of finger.

Yeah, I'm thinking about a Spikes Barking Spider.

    Now that's funny!
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

Sorry about your finger, but the AR looks nice

I'm thinking about a shorter barreled upper for mine. It currently has a 10.5"

I've never seen the "Barking spider" I have seen the Firepig and have a Lavang Linear in-bound, due tomorrow, for my HD carbine

Be interesting to see how the short barrel does. To get my 10.5 in .223 accurate past 50 yards I had to push loads to the max.

Calebib, what caliber is your pistol ?
Is there a better powder for those short barrels ????
Is a pistol caliber better for barrels under 10 inches ?
Not bad for concealed carry !!!! Lol ! :jester:
