Sometimes I just go on and on....................
Wife kept asking me questions that no one on earth but her has the answer to so the thought train took the dirt road
Wally World ADL in plastic stock with cheap (horribly canted) scope for 377. Remington 50 cash back until 30 Nov on ADL's. So for 354.66 after tax and 5 for NICS, I have a rifle that the daughter can use, that I already have dies and components for, and after the pig hunt is over, I send it to Hart to get it re bbled. I (thumbhole) stock it and put a good trigger on it, and then I might as well book the antelope hunt I always wanted to do because I have the rifle.
It's boring, and your lack of creativity knows no bounds.
I barnsighted it. Looked through the bore and lined the scope to the same point. Figured I would see if it will shoot so I grabbed some stuff I had rolled up hit the bench.
First was way left so I brought her in
A bit to far
Fired one, then the next, said, "Hey, I'm good" then figured to make it a 3 rnd group. Shot #3 and was high. Ok ???? Looked through the spotting scope and I caught sight of a now broken a tiny tree branch that the others went past. So I shot another. So a inch at 127 yds. Should work. Now to decide on a bullet for larger pigs, and start loading for all three 06's.
From 30-06 (re http://forums.gunsandammo.com/showthread.php?26662-A-conundrum ) to probably 25-06. I already have the brass and dies for that to/too/two/tutu and depending on the laws when this happens I will likely be flying to wherever I am hunting. If I cant bring ammo, I can always buy.

And what will it be chambered from? 06?
You're just a regular chatter box today.
Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.
