You guys actually think our government is going to allow handguns they (we, technically) own to be placed back into circulation so that we Normal schlubs can own them?

The counter argument is pretty straightforward - it's not a high-speed, low-drag, x-ray-avoiding "assault" pistol with a really big magazine. It matches everything they CLAIM to want a handgun to be.
