So yesterday I took a hundred fifty rounds and the 44 special flattop to the range. I get set up with a five bull square target and run it out. I started to shoot and a couple take the booth next to me. I shoot six and reload, shoot six reload. The female half of the couple peers around the wall and looks at the revolver on the table and looks confused at me. "That is a great group on the target what are you shooting?" Just the 44 special Ruger, I answered. "That cowboy pistol." I smile and say " yep that cowboy gun." I finish shooting and was packing up and she said that she had never seen anyone shoot a gun like that and didn't think they could be accurate, "because of the curved handle." I politely said there are others that make my target look just sad with these old guns. But I hold my own:tooth: The indoor range out here is a strange place......
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.
