Gloves for pistol shooting
I noticed that some of the members use gloves when shooting large caliber firearms. What are your opinions for glove choice.

such as the plowshare grip of a Redhawk.

I have a really nice pair, but have found that I do better with bare hands. In a work situation, if you need a pen or such, it seemed way to clumsy and took to much time fumbling around.

This.
Really. I have a pair of those wool mittens that I can fold back out of the way to take a rifle shot. I've never tried to shoot a handgun with gloves. We don't have very cold winters.
This, the Mechanix gloves are great. I also have a couple pairs of these CLC gloves... http://www.goclc.com/products/Work-Gloves-High-Dexterity-Flex-Grip/124
At $12, they are a great deal and last reasonably well. As they start to wear out, I retire them to use when I'm running my buffer or grinding metal.

Yep. For $12, those CLC gloves are my favorite, for mildly cold weather.
