  It's one of the toughest finishes. Nitride is tougher but going back to do any machine work or anything after nitride is a pain.

  I've heard nothing but good things. If I had a gun that was showing some wear and got a lot of hard field use in the elements (particularly maritime or tropical climates) I would probably get said gun treated by Robar or similar.
