Follow up on Ruger Customer Service....

Apparently all you have to do is send a nasty gram to get an answer...I have received 4 emails from them today regarding the finish on my Vaquero and the problems with my AR556.
Here is the "just" of the email I sent and one of the "automated" responses - I also received 2 emails from actual "persons". Basically they will issue call tags to get both guns back to the factory..
Comment / question:
I sent in a problem about the finish on my Vaquero revolver, where all the "case hardened" finish came off the gun, Feb 11th or there about and have not heard one word back....while I sent this email, I rec'd a brand new AR-15 - and again and very disappointed. I had to hack the grip down just to make the safety work properly, the bayonet lug doesn't even hold a bayonet and this is the WORST trigger I have ever had on a new AR15.
Why do you even have this contact site if you don't respond?
Response:
We would like to take a look at your firearm to address your concerns. Please contact our Product Service Department at 336-949-5200 with the serial number to have an RMA number issued for return. If you are calling from a state that has firearm restrictions (CA, CT, NY Etc.) we recommend you have your local dealer contact us for the RMA number. Thank you for your email.
Will keep you up to date after they are sent off and what I hear back....

"If you get it and didn't work for it, someone else worked for it and didn't get it..."
Actually I just sent a "nasty" email and got the response...but looks like I am going to have to call in for the tags.

Here is a pic of the my brand new AR556 that I had to hack away on the grip for the safety to work properly..
Finish came off the Vaquero in case in safe...
Agreed, I find it hard to believe they don't already know about that problem.
