221 Fireball rifle range report

Got my ugliest rifle (by far) out today and sent some 221 Fireball down range. My best five shot group before today was 0.25". Got a five shot group in today a hair under 0.2".
This thing is of course a cupcake to shoot from the bench. 50 gr Berger moly match grade bullets over 18.0 grains of IMR 4198 results in about 2670 fps.

Good Shootin, ugly gun. Did the action come off that Rem XP in the pic?

Yes, it is an XP 100 action.
By the way, ammo shot today was loaded in 2004.
The results aren't ugly
I didn't build it. It was assembled by a gunsmith. XP 100 action, Pac-Nor barrel, Simonson Machine Co aluminum stock, Weaver 15x scope.
I've been debating a new finish for the stock to make the thing look half way decent. Seems like lipstick on a pig and other projects always take precedence.
I think it looks awesome

Not to my knowledge. The barrel is 16.1" and it's of course over 26" so no SBR issues to deal with.
I doubt I would ever consider it but I believe there was an ATF ruling in 2011 that allowed for going back to pistol config from the rifle config if it was a pistol originally. Confusing at best.
The pistol to rifle conversion is good to go as far as I know.
Always great to be able to shoot tiny groups
