  Ventura and Trump were both in the national Reform party. They left, in part, because a faction lead by a post-black helicopters disrupting his daughter's wedding Ross Perot wanted them out.

  Trump doesn't just have a campaign; Trump has a huge groundswell movement of people being fed up with the same old same old. And like a runaway freight train, a movement is hard to stop. And like a runaway freight train, most movements like that end up like the runaway freight train; in a spectacular and highly destructive wreck with lots of carnage to go around.
  
  If Trump does win the Republican nomination and beats the Democrat, then I hope I'm wrong about the train wreck that could follow. I'm damned near too old for Civil War II.

  Just to clarify, this thread's intention was more to criticize how absurdly detached the media and elites have become in our society, than my personal opinion on Trump.
  
  But to be honest, I'm really enjoying the stress Sanders/Trump is causing our Masters of the Universe in DC.

  For anyone interested, today's On Point on NPR was great. That had that moron Stuart Stevens (of Mitt Romney campaign fame) on, and gave him just enough rope to hang himself. He repeatedly said that unless someone makes it to 1237, no matter how close they get, the "rules" allow the floor to nominate whomever they choose.
