As idiotic as members of the KKK seem, I would have thought they would have better judgement than that. :tooth:

Seriously though, who gives a flying you-know-what who the KKK endorses?

edited to add: What I mean to ask is why is their endorsement a news story? I get the irony of the endorsement, just not the importance of it.

Seems like every media outlet had a story about David Duke endorsing Donald Trump when that happened.
I guess what is fair is fair, although not many liberal media outlets will run this story.
It doesn't have to be important to be news these days.:jester:

    True enough.

For me, the only 'news' in Duke's endorsement of Trump was that he didn't immediately reject it. His non answer regarding why spoke volumes. A candidate cannot control who follows or endorses him, but he can reject it. Choosing not to was making a statement that I think he did not intend to make...and yet, he chose not to reject the endorsement. His claim of not knowing who Dukes was, or what the KKK was...simply ludicrous and completely unbelievable.

Hillary actually comes off morally superior here, and that also speaks volumes. The fact we can even say that completely pisses me off.

Who should this surprise? The Clan was originally all Democrat. If people will remember, who freed the slaves? It weren't anybody that even looked like Hitlery. Ol' Abe Lincoln were a Republican.

Maybe they just don't want folks to vote for Hilary? They know an endorsement from them is not a positive, so they support the candidate they hate?

    I dunno.... it's a weird election year.
    Meh.

This is how I took it but, other than other KKK members, I can't imagine who would care what candidate the klan endorsed.
