  hmm... The guy prosecuted the Unibomber, so you know he's liberal scum, in favor of .gov overreach.

  Ruled in favor of the DEA to prevent relaxed Marijuana regulations for medicinal research, making him unfriendly towards "anti-regulation" conservatives.

  I only hope we don't regret passing over our chance at a moderate. Say Hitlery gets elected, or Trump turns out to be the RINO his past says he is.

  As for the 2A, a moderate will mostly get us nothing. Moderates in my view tend to vote against the 2A as often as the vote for it. And the chance we take is that the moderate will saddle up with the libs and there goes the 2A. In my way of thinking, the Senate should cowboy up and do their jobs no matter who the Prez is. If the Prez nominates a total libtard the Senate, if it's predominately conservative, should simply not roll over and die. They should not confirm the nominee. Come on Senators, Speak Up like you got a pair!
  
  It's that simple, keep rejecting his nominees until he gets tired and nominates an acceptable justice or until his time in the Oval Office is over and we have a new PICKER.

  I understand this completely, but the Dems already set that precedence. Remember the Biden Rule?
  
  Besides, I am old enough to remember when we almost never had a conservative majority in the House or Senate and we had such geniuses as Jimmy Carter for president.
  
  And, right now I'm more worried about them setting a precedence of taking my rights away.
