New restrictions in CA....

Crazy restrictions being passed in Kalifornia.

http://www.latimes.com/la-pol-sac-essential-politics-here-are-the-gun-control-propo-1463685378-htmlstory.html

Here's a quick overview of proposed gun control measures approved Thursday by the state Senate.

Ammunition regulation: SB 1235 by Senate leader Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) requires background checks to buy ammunition. It also creates a license to sell ammunition, and creates a new system for collecting information about those sales.

Ban on large ammunition magazines: SB 1446 by Sen. Loni Hancock (D-Berkeley) bans the ownership of any ammunition clip that holds more than 10 rounds.

Bullet buttons: SB 880 by Sen. Isadore Hall (D-Compton) expands the legal definition of an "assualt weapon" to include a group of rifles with ammunition clips that can be quickly swapped out by using a bullet to push a small release button.

Well, those are just common sense measures...just like the last round of common sense measures. Anybody who thinks the end game isn't total banning/confiscation is just kidding themselves.

Those idiots deserve what they get for electing the morons who run the place! The best picture I've seen in a long time was Commiefornia fading away from view in my mirrors, and that was in 1980! I can't imagine any reason to ever cross that state line again!

A background check cost $$$ right? So customers will stock up with that lethal cop/child killing ammo and more of it will be as they say "On The Streets..........."

I am mesmerized by the spectacle of Americans trying as hard as they can to deprive themselves of their rights and their liberty. It's incomprehensible. Flabbergasting.

People aren't interested in freedom. That's why our two party system is broken. Blah, blah, blah... :blah:

I had to wait until 2007. Best move I ever made!
When our governing officials dismiss due process as mere semantics, when they exercise powers they don’t have and ignore duties they actually bear, and when we let them get away with it, we have ceased to be our own rulers.

Insert the word "responsibility" instead of consequences, and I agree.

Working on my exit visa. Would like to ditch this hole by years end.

    Good luck with the move.

It's not only gun control in Cali. It's everything control.

My friends and relatives trapped behind the curtain update me on the crazy crap that passes as "legislation". ATV rules and area closures, swimming pools, boating regulations, fuel taxes, etc. One of my friends who frequently hunts with me left an ATV and a rifle at my house last year. Says he can't get "certified non-tox" ammo for the caliber and can't ride the ATV unless he drives 4 hours.

Those nutcases in San Bernardino could have accomplished a lot more if they chose to shoot up Sacramento instead!

My Good Man! Don't you know they're only trying to look out for your own welfare? It's the Libtard way! They know we are incapable of taking care of ourselves so the Government must step in and do it for us. Next thing after they disarm everybody, they'll outlaw everything else you could hurt yourself with. Sausage, Bacon, Beef, eggs, Tabasco sauce,Tobacco, Alcohol, Soft Drinks, Air.... oh wait! We need that to breathe and we need to breathe to live? OMG ! They keep taking things away and there's no life left! All that in the name of keeping us safe!

People ask me all the time "why did you move to North Dakota?". My answer, it's far enough from California.

I will be stopping the car at the state line and getting out briefly. I'll leave it to your imagination as to what I'll do at that point, but it will be my last official act on the California side of the line!

I'm confident everyone here noticed the glaring technical term error in 2 of the 3 examples of the senate bills. I hope it is the actual language of the bills other than the articles author's lack of knowledge, as any first year law student could overturn the intent of these idiots. I will refrain from disclosing the identity of these terms believing the ignorance of these so called "law" makers could be one of our only hopes.

I remebered back in the 90s when the outlawed charcoal lighter fluid. To much pollution. Forced them to reinvent the stuff to be cleaner. As if it made a difference with the 30 million cars they have on the roads.

Give 'em at least two 6 packs' worth! I've been threatening to irrigate the grave of one of my former employers, but every time I stop by the cemetery, there's too long a line!

That wasn't a problem. We all switched to gasoline!

Kerosene works, but it makes the steaks taste funny! Now I just use 3 or 4 sheets of newspaper in a charcoal chimney, and no starter fluid at all. It takes exactly 2 beers' worth of time to get a bed of perfectly lit, odorless coals!
