I have some brand new wigs and bonnets for the ones that might be interested for an acting role or for role playing at a reenactment. Please respond so I will know to keep them for your consideration or whether to get in touch with one of our Host of Christmas past organizers here. Really working on downsizing as I put my house back together following our flood. :yikes:

OK I gotta mention ...well you know the guy with the Greek sounding name before someone else does..............

He might get into historical belly dancing, never know :tooth:

Though it sounds like it could be a lot of fun, these little jewels were not that inexpensive, so not just for fun and games, sorry to burst your bubble folks. :nono:

I'm ALMOST a Confederate veteran, Miss Mary! And I'm loosing some of my hair.....could I take a look at the wigs :tooth: First really good switching I ever got was because of the War.... for cussing! I was about 4 years old, and I had a habit of repeating what my Grandad would say about the Union soldiers burning his Dad's house down. Mama told me not to say GD Yankees again, but I slipped! She tore me up with a Privy Hedge switch :yikes:! She broke me from cussing....before I even knew what it was all about!

Rich, when my mother was but a wee girl her step father, Daddy Jake, was a mule skinner. Needless to say some of his language to the mules could get a bit salty. She was sitting on a soap box with a bit of twine wrapped around the porch post driving her pretend mule and she got her backsides warmed for using his methods for getting her mule going "Diddee up you G__ D____ mule, diddee up!" My grandma was not impressed with her little game at all! :rotflmao:

Miss Marry, you can't tell me that Ned in a wig and bonnet wouldn't be PRICELESS.

    You just might too!
