  The Barnes/other copper monolithic bullets I have seen recovered look exactly like that: perfect mushrooms and very much intact. Nice job recovering that bullet from an animal that size!

  Accuracy: because white space between bullet holes drives me insane.

  I don't think I've seen anything but perfect terminal performance from the monolithic bullets.

  I've only recovered 2 Barnes X bullets, both were 235 gr. Barnes X bullets in .375. One from my biggest bull elk and the other from my Bull Moose. Both were frontal shots and both were recovered after traveling the complete length of the animal. Under the hide , they both looked like that. I drilled through the bullet shank and put them on a key chain.
