New bike!
Finally after waiting a few weeks for my bike to come from California to the shop I bought it from in south Springfield, it finally arrived and I picked it up last Friday. I'm an impatient individual so I was tickled pink when I got the call to come get it. Its very smooth, proportional and comfortable for what appears to be a dirtbike with lights and signals. It comes factory with highway gearing (sprockets) which is awesome for higher sustained speeds, but its lacking low end power (just a bit) for my size and its only a 250cc. Its taller than hell with a seat height that makes me tiptoe when sitting on it and I'm 6'0 tall, but I overall love it. Its smooth on the trail, road or highway and gets great mpg's. Fuel injection is also something I've been missing all my life on bikes.

Also, don't judge the garage. It looks like a complete Shiite hole because most of the crap in there is still trash from when we moved in a year ago. I'm just happy I have a garage to trash out. It also seems my toy buying days is up for a while. I can't convince the wife further that I need more stuff bein there's a riding mower, four wheeler, 3 different three wheelers and now the bike!

The disaster :tooth:

Same here. Street/trail too. Never a hitch to sit on the thing either. Any person that's ever sat on a dirtbike as an adult or kid knows how its a straight up sitting position.
Thank you. I'd sure like to park my truck in there again though.
Congrats.
Yep. 1984. Clean and complete.
Back in my day we called them "scramblers" and riding dirt trails was called "cow tailing" we had no Japanese bikes then, the best one was a BSA 500cc single, I had a Velocette Viper 350cc single.
