For a long time I thought tofu was made from the flesh of Nauga's after they had been skinned for their hides...........

    Most rabbits won't eat tofu.

They have too much sense to do such a thing.
    Meh.

No doubt about it. Youth is wasted on the young.

Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.

So does that mean you plan to quit breathing?

I like a small chunk of tofu in miso soup. My grandson will eat a block of tofu with soy sauce only on it. I think he gets this from his dad. I once ate a tofu corndog, and it wasn't bad, since the corn is what you tasted.

I'd about as soon eat a tofu dog as a regular hot dog. Can't stand hot dogs, maybe one a year because they look so good. I like the chili they put on chili dogs; kinda kills the taste of the floor sweepings they put in a hot dog.

I can't believe that you have lived this long and not had a good hot dog...my go-to brand are Koegel Vienna's...( Koegel Dinner Franks are damned good too)my butcher also makes some terrific in-house hot dogs

Not so....it may be the case with cheap store bought weiners, but premuim and kosher dogs are made with good meat. My butcher in-house dogs are fabulous...

You queasy, picky eaters definitely wouldn't want to be around a Tennessee farm at hog-killing time and watch what goes in the sausage grinder!

I'll typically eat most any animal stem to stern if it's cleaned, prepared, and cooked/served at least halfway decently.

Two things that are not worth the effort to make into food; javalina and goat. I'd rather eat tofu.

I've been served SOS from the USAF chow hall that the local stray dogs wouldn't eat!

When I was a kid, when we slaughtered a hog we used everything but the oink and not that much of it was ground up.

I've shot quite a few feral goats when I lived in Texas and I like the meat and think that it tastes like a cross between pork and lamb. It's the hide that has that godawful odor and once you get the skin off and sealed in a garbage bag, there is no foul odor to to the meat.

And not shooting an old musky boar for food, as well.

I've had javelina and goat (Cabrito) that wasn't terrible. I just don't prefer it. That's why I said it's not worth the effort and not that it can't be ok when done correctly.

I've been on ranches where the Mexican guys did the hole in the ground, make mesquite coals and bury the goat or javalina in the hole and let it cook all day. Not bad. But a lot of work for what it was. Let's just smoke some brisket...
