A co-worker showed me a video of this handgun. Says he wants one for handgun hunting deer and hogs.
It is very expensive and I have no idea where one would find ammo, bit it is different and sure would not be the same old thing in a new box.
Anyone know anything about this gun/company?

Wow cool, but $7500 MSRP.................I'll just shoot my CZ52 7.62X25 @ 1600 FPS I paid 100 bucks fer and pretend. I'd like to run a mag through one though.

103 grain or so bullet @ 2000 FPS, recoil of a .40 S&W and power of a .44 Mag (they claim).

He did find one for $4K
He has a injury that makes shooting a .44 mag very uncomfortable, so he went looking and found this.

No free lunch there. Small and fast can give a very sharp recoil that will feel as bad as a pistol with more measured recoil....

    I had a .32NAA and that little sucker felt like a .357mag

    I'll pass. :head:

They claim 2000 f/s and 880 ft*lbs. If that's true then they must have been shooting the 98 grain bullets. Felt recoil of a 40 S&W and energy of a .44 Mag?! Well, if you run some of the lower .44 Mag loads then sure. (240 [email protected] f/s)

Hornady loads at Midway list as 240 grain @ 1350 f/s

Recoil of a .40 S&W? Sure, why not, the gun only weighs 45 ounces. By comparison my old .44 Super Blackhawk with a 7 1/2 inch barrel only weighed 48!!

Here's an interesting read before anyone spends a small fortune on this new wonder gun.

I think this would be a fun gun to play around with and would probably make a nice field gun within it's ballistic limitations but for that price? No Thanks! I'll just wait till CZ makes a knockoff. :jester:

SPK, I wuz thunking the same thing that article you linked to said.............'About equivalent to an M-1 Carbine', in power. Sure from a 6" bbl and a handgun, but close more or less. I can see a niche for some folks this would fill.

But add 12" of bbl and fire the new cartridge outta a carbine then things will step up. Still from a semi-auto handgun to get those ballistics and accuracy is quite the accomplishment.

Here's the company website for anyone interested:

It appears that only a few are floating around at the moment. Mostly for evaluation purposes. Here's an interesting article by American Rifleman about the ****.

I'll still wait until the price drops.
