  If you mean Bruchi, he hasn't been around for a long time. I've enquired about him several times and nobody knows what happened to him!!?? I know he lived at the northern tip of PR.

  Last December I attempted to locate him while in Puerto Rico. With my minimal Spanish and his business being all but gone, I had no luck. Wife was working and I went along for the ride, so had time.
  FWS sent several Agents with coordinates of offices, residence and location of unheard from family members, so far everyone is uncomfortable but OK.
  Looting and taking what someone else has and another doesn't has begun. In my experience, in these situations people will share and take care of each other, hoping they get rid of the bad apples and come out of this OK

  Bruchi has been MIA for some time now. However, this storm had frightening power and destructive force. My great aunt - my grandmother’s sister who lives in Ponce, PR - has not been heard from since the storm. We have mo idea if she is dead or alive, and her husband has Alzheimer’s. I’m certain that tonsof other people are in similar communication predicaments.

  Electric power plants, except one, are over 40 years old and were in pretty severe disrepair before the hurricanes. Same for the distribution systems. They have good folks working the plants and good linemen, but the system has been severely neglected as money was spent elsewhere. With plants that old, stuff breaks on a regular basis, and a hurricane would really break old stuff.
