    No, I totaled up the cost of the build and wasn’t willing to spend that after already building the 16” LR-308 Rifle.

    Smart move IMO
    4" less barrel and no butt stock MIGHT save you 1.5-2 pounds over the rifle, and, IMO, gain you nothing but SLIGHTLY more concealability

    I’m very happy with the one I completed. Figure I got lucky. Don’t want to push my luck.

    Well, seeing as how over gassing an LR-308 seems to be the biggest caused of breakages, I’ve ordered an adjustable gas block. See if that will keep it in one piece.
