Cougars are here, officially.
We've had sightings for years, but I didn't really believe it till I saw one a year or so ago. People claim to see stuff all the time, and I usually take the stories with a grain of salt. Of course, a lot of people didn't believe me, when I said I saw one.
Anyway, this one was caught on camera about 25 miles south of here. This one is a little bigger than the one I saw.

Judging by his dress, I'd say he probably doesn't have a valid hunting license. Arrest that dude. Also,

Makes no difference. They are here. Too many sightings to be BS. And they've been here. Man's encroachment on their habitat has made sightings increase. My cousin has a ranch north of Lampasas and she was in her deer blind one morning and out one walks. She just sat there watching it play. I believe they're some around my deer lease the way animals behave sometimes. One day there's deer and coyotes everywhere then all of a sudden even the yotes disappear.
