I'm not sure - still thinking about a Garand and/or a DWM Luger - preferably in .30 luger. Or maybe I'll run across something else.

Really want to get some intermediate/advanced pistol instruction for both myself and my wife.

    No plans really,don't need anything. BUT, I hope I don't run across a H&K 10 mm MP-5.

After spending the last half of 2017 renovating my house, need to get out and shoot more. Really want a rifle in .308, have been lusting for a DSA SA 58/FN FAL but a .308 in a AR platform or bolt rifle seems more practical. Also, another flavor of 1911 could be very tempting.

Right now I don’t have much planned for actual firearms, but SHOT show is coming up. Maybe a tacti-**** out AK.

The real plan is to trick out the RAP 6.5 Creedmoor

I have no idy yet, gotta be something that tickles my gun fancy and I'll actually shoot a lot.

No gun plans. Thinking on some upgrades to guns already in the family but too many balls in the air this year.

Man, you haven't bought that Garand yet? I'm telling you, they're a blast! (No pun intended...)

I would like to have an M1 Garand and an M1 Carbine......but that won't happen this year unless I win the lottery.

I'll be going back on my word and selling a couple this year; they've become safe queens and I just can't abide that. My main focus will be on ammo; building up reserves and deciding on an alternative carry round for my EDC.

Only purchase possibility is an XDm or Mod 2, full size. Haven't decided which one yet, and I'm not in a hurry.

Get the 275 and 404 Jeffery finished. Send the 270 off to get rebored. Really about the only "plans" I want to accomplish. Ill leave anything else to the universe's choice!

If I had a hankering for something .308 I'd have to look at a Ruger American. I'd want it in the plain Jane hunting model. But then I'm not a tacticool shootist, just a lowly deer hunter. Oh yeah, and the price is usually right.

    I'd like a lightweight O/U 20 ga, and a .22 revolver, preferably a Charter Arms, Ruger or Smith, with a 4" or 6" barrel.

Hot dam I'd be in on that program but it'll cost us a war pension!!!

I'm in the middle of picking another safe first, they're stacked in the ones I got and actually got a few hidden out of the safes. After that I got a guy wanting to sell me another .22 rifle......Remington 541S....If y'all remember anything about my early years on here, when I was a kid Bob Milek was the writer who got me hooked on rifles. And his favorite was the 541S, I bought one in 1987 and a 541T a few years later and they just do not come up for sale that I ever see.
After that I have feeling I'm going back to an O/U for competition and I got a Salvinelli or a Perazzi in mind......Maybe a Kolar

Well, my one NEED was met today...picked up a spare Wilson Combat Beretta 92G to be a back up for my carry gun.

I might do my AK-47 or shotgun project this year...might not.

Not trying to dissuade you, but have you tried one with some of the new, slimmer, G10 grips. I find the factory Sig P series (I know that you had either a 228 or 229) to be a bit large for me, but these Berettas fit just fine. Come to Jerry's in May...try them for yourself.

Some upgrades to FIL's former 92FS, some G10 grips would be nice. The one thing I really want is a 9mm Carbine. The more I think about it, while I like the idea of the Sub2000, I am really thinking about that Chiappi m1-9 non-replica. I hate that it has no bolt hold open, but wondering if a paratrooper m1 sliding stock would fit for a nice compact HD and packing weapon. A different folder would be marginally acceptable but that old telescoping stock might be the best option.

Because the other option would be to put the M&P on the sell list to get a Glock ( shudder ) and the new Ruger PC9 carbine.
