So I see that Bradley/Chelsea Manning is running for the Senate Seat in Maryland

Seems this piece of slime has crawled out from under his rock. I would think a convicted felon and traitor with a DD would have little chance of being elected......but stranger things have happened

A traitor and a freak should fit in just fine.

A liberal idiot challenging a liberal idiot causing a liberal idiot civil war? Run Manning run!

Commuting his 35 year sentence is another part of Obama's legacy.

I did not think so, but a convicted felon may run for office. The House or Senate can vote to reject that person.
What laws have we allowed to be created? A waste of air gets 35 years for several charges, one of which is TREASON! For some reason Obama grants clemency and now it can run for office? Holy Smokes

I can't think of a better person to represent the Democrat Party.

Let's not forget that on January 9, which was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, that scumbag tweeted his daily message to his followers which was "F*** the police!".

And an idiot who can't hit the broad side of a barn tries to shoot a bunch of Republicans? This world is crazy!

This is but a small part in Barry O'Bummer's vision of the United States.

They vote in pathological liars, why not a convicted traitor as well?

Will fit in fine with the UNconvicted traitors!

Politics is getting PAST the point where there are more freaks than at any given dozen carnival sideshows. And not nearly as interesting freaks, either. Maybe he/she/it/whatever wants to get in the Senate and get in on that serial groping and make a few million in hush money.

Should have shot/hung it for treason when they had the chance.

And nobody rioted, protested, even talked bad about Obama for doing it. They didn't even jump up and down or yell and scream.

I have to take mandatory training to recognize inside threats to our Nation. The flipping President lets one convicted one go free after he was caught and found guilty!!

I could of course be wrong but I think commuting a sentence does not automatically erase a felony conviction. A full pardon possibly could. What did the former "idiot in chief" actually grant? If I was much younger I could not join the military, law enforcement, FBI, CIA, and many other professions with a felony conviction. This is so wrong!

His prison sentence was commuted....he was not pardoned....so he's still a convicted felon. However after doing some reading, I find it's not a disqualifiers for holding public office.....not sure if the DD is or not.....

What's next? Bowe Bergdahl running for President?

Buford and Roadking are both right. If I didn't own property in MD and have extended family here,I'd leave MD so fast that my passing would create a vacuum in its wake.
    And that's the truf.

Vic, just leave the place. What's good for you and yours is what's important. If the rest are comfortable with the way Maryland is going, then that's on them. Do what's right for you and your wife.
