Range report 5” 44 special GP100
Today was a beautiful day here so off to the range I went. I took the new GP100 5” 44 special and the 3” special. The 3” shot great as always with a 240grain Keith bullet with 7 grains of unique. That is the standard carry load for it. I shot it in the 5” and it was not pretty, shotgun pattern at best. I was worried! I had some 180grain Remington bullets loaded with 8.5gr or unique with me so I thought what the heck. Well that gun really likes the 180’s! This was at 25 yards. With more time with this revolver I see that group shrinking!
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.
