Someone just sent me this. Haven't had time to see if it's real but by reading it, it looks real. YouTube to ban gun related videos.

    Its on the news.

Could be that consolidation of news and information sources are not only ruining the quality of said but also exerting censoring control.

YouTube is not a news outlet, it is a video-sharing website.

There are already some gun related YouTube gun content providers migrating to the Porn Hub website. Makes sense in a twisted way. Gun Porn on Porn Hub!
Now you can have a legit reason for going to Porn Hub!

Yeah, it's real. Youtube's showing their liberal leanings... AGAIN.

It's part of google, and they can do with their stuff what they wish, as long as it doesn't violate current laws. Doesn't mean I have to like it. With some of the videos I have posted, I almost expect them to shut down my measly little account... c'est la vie

Here's a list of youtube alternatives. Not all of them are true alternatives, but there are reviews and there might be something on the extensive list that is good.

Now if a greater variety of independent news sources would become readily avsilable...........

I wish I was smart enough and had the resources to create a site similar to YouTube and only host conservative material ... Gun Videos and so on ... a ban the liberal snowflake junk. It would be so funny to see how the liberal side would scream censorship.

He is still on there. Long video and he touched on it toward the end. Basically he said they are coming at us in many different ways this time.

I wish there was a way to delete a comment and start all over again. That's why my last post looks like it does. Had to backspace to get rid of another comment I did an hour ago that was waiting on approval.

Hey, Terminator, here's a link to an article that explains sorta kinda what YouTube is doing.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/youtube-suspends-major-gun-manufacturer-bans-instructional-gun-videos/ar-BBKv9f4

YouTube has updated its policies on content featuring firearms, leading to the suspension of a large gun manufacturer and forcing popular gun content creators to remove videos from their channels.

“While we’ve long prohibited the sale of firearms, we recently notified creators of updates we will be making around content promoting the sale or manufacture of firearms and their accessories, specifically, items like ammunition, gatling triggers, and drop-in auto sears," reads a statement from a YouTube spokesperson.

The list of prohibited content now includes links to sites that sell firearms, videos that teach installation of certain accessories, and videos that teach the entirely legal acts of manufacturing guns and reloading ammunition.

YouTube prohibits certain kinds of content featuring firearms. Specifically, we don’t allow content that:

Intends to sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales (e.g., private sales by individuals) or links to sites that sell these items. These accessories include but may not be limited to accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire or convert a firearm to automatic fire (e.g., bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, conversion kits), and high capacity magazines (i.e., magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds).

Provides instructions on manufacturing a firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazine, homemade silencers/suppressors, or certain firearms accessories such as those listed above. This also includes instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.

Shows users how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.

Spike's Tactical, a Florida-based manufacturer of guns and accessories, posted on their Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday that their YouTube account has been suspended for violating community guidelines.

"Community Guidelines" my **** ass. YouTube's rules.

This is - YET AGAIN - why I recommend everyone host their own content on their OWN **** WEBPAGE! Fortunately, Hikock45 can do just that.

Looks to me like that would fall under the freedom of speech amendment. Even if it is by video.

As long as they keep their anti gun stuff as related to full auto or semulated full auto stuff, because If I want to do that I have other sources to tap than You tube. I've been expecting them to crack down on bump stocks since the Las Vegas shooting. I don't like their restrictive behavior, but if bump stocks or whatever are against the law,  I don't have room to cry. But they better not mess with anything legal or I'll take my toys and go home.

It was on this mornings news. Reported that YouTube was banning videos of gun assembly and accessory installation such as "High Capacity Magazines". I'm thinking that anyone who requires video instruction on how to insert a magazine should probably consult a firearms instructor. I witnessed a Colonel at the range having trouble chambering a round in his M9 pistol. The magazine was jammed in with the cartridges pointed at the shooter! It all worked out. A couple months later the Colonel got his star and assumed command of an Infantry Brigade!

Freedom of speech? Where you been the last few years? Speech is only 'free speech' if it adheres to the Loony Left's ideas and follows their script EXACTLY. All speech not adhering to their 'standards' is either 'hate speech' or 'Fascist Right Wing' propaganda.

Funny thing about the Left's use of the term 'Fascist Right Wing'. Fascism is a far left ideology that is diametrically apposed to Right Wing or Conservative ideas. Just proves that the Left are brain cell deficient and morally depraved, IMO.

There are a lot of great how to videos other than putting s mag in.  I watched installation videos on aftermarket parts for my MKIIIs a bunch of times.  I've watched AR how to's and revolver ones and reloading ones.  They can be a lifesaver.

Yep, got in over my head on a couple of projects in the past and Youtube showed me how to get my poop back in a group ;)

Same here. I've used YouTube for many tear downs for cleaning and re-assembly.
