Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates, Rule #37: There is no “overkill”. There is only “open fire” and “I need to reload”.

NC has put in an alligator season-----that is the good news.

Bad news is that a local municipality/govt has to request the hunt------none have,
    probably afraid of the antis

Not having cable tv, I need to ask.

What do ya do with the gator??? And maybe more important, how does one retrieve a dead gator???

You eat it, have it mounted, make something out of the hide.

I'll have to see what hunting methods are allowed.

Watch Swamp People on the History channel for retrieval methods.

Also, some states  require bow & arrow with a line, another a spear.

Yeah, he gets serious about it------goes up in the hills and camps out.

Of course you know he is an old fart, also.

I've shot a couple of big turkeys, but Gimme a Jake any day. A Jake is actually very good to eat. And that's what it boils down to for me nowadays.
