    Yep, Spring gobbler in North Central Pa. shotgun only, 12 gauge 3-1/2'' maximum three rounds in the gun.

    The first turkey I shot with a rifle was with a .243, I harvested half a breast and one leg.  I learned not to shoot center mass.  The biggest, a 28 pound  Eastern, was taken with a .270 shot through the neck.  I would love to take one with my .32 caliber Crockett muzzleloader but it is not legal in Indiana.......robin
